Today was yet another day of work weekend soon!

Got some software done - woot for 4-bit colour. The image on the right is taken off the ethernet - so the program talks to itself over the ethernet…

This is a nice bright picture - not had much chance of taking pictures with vivid colours like this as it being winter and all.

Today was fairly uneventfull - started playing Call of Duty 4 on the hardest difficulty and did some more programming. I should have some time tomorrow to take some photos, but here is a picy of some software I wrote last term for a demo we had to give.

Photoblog - Day 12

Revisiting a photo I took last week. Ive been playing with cross-processing with some other bits I have read on various websites. I think it looks quite nice!

I have also been playing with Visual Studio 2008, making a ‘chumby’ type device to sit above my desk. Will write a full post soon on how its going…

Ice Age Prehistoric Animal Excavation Kit! Lol. I am slightly bored, spent all day working (well not all day, but a good proportion of it). The money is nice, but the work is a bit tedious…

First proper project day over. Was very productive, tomorrow I have a lot of coding to get on with and some documentation so others can use the code. But looks like I might get some time tomorrow to wonder into town with my camera.

Photoblog - Day 7

Most of my lectures are over for the week, yay. Although I do have to spend the rest of the week doing coursework, not so yay. While I was wondering around campus I took some shots of the new building (forget its name) and of the Systems Engineering building .

I am nowhere near happy with the new building shot, the framing is close to what I want, perhaps a bit wider. But its over exposed, I’ve not yet got the knack of the metering system. I was using center weighted spot to stop the sky from causing the building to be under exposed, but that meant most of the sky disappeared! Will have to do some reading and give it a go another time.
